Sexual Harassment Training

Employers are responsible for maintaining a workplace that is free of sexual harassment, bullying and discrimination.

sexual harassment in the workplace

Sexual harassment can be a serious problem in the workplace, and regulatory compliance requirements often mandate anti-harassment training.

Sometimes managers, supervisors and employees may not be aware their behavior could be considered abusive conduct or that it creates a hostile work environment. The best way to ensure a harassment-free workplace is to raise awareness through employee training.

As defined by the EEOC, workplace conduct is considered illegal when it is “severe enough or pervasive enough to create a work environment that a reasonable person would consider intimidating, hostile, or abusive.”

If your organization has offices or employees in California, Connecticut or Maine, Human Resources may be required by law to provide employees with up to two hours of harassment awareness training.
