Why have performance meetings? Because employees want feedback, and they can align behavior to meet your goals. Good programs should be embraced as a two-way interaction to elevate careers and drive results. We will help you change your program to one that focuses on the meetings – not the paperwork! When developed properly, performance alignment systems can link individual behavior to the strategic plan that often eludes staff. HR can only improve the process if management understands feedback is an ongoing activity that is at the core of the management role. Explore ways to change the process from compliance to communication to drive your organization forward.

Learning objectives:

  • Review new theories of performance management and how you can improve current processes
  • Evaluate your current paperwork to align with culture instead of compliance
  • Provide opportunities for ongoing feedback from management and staff
  • Consider the key issues with performance management systems and how to avoid them
